Strong winds exceeding more than 110 km/h, heavy rain and hail have caused widespread damage across Perth and left thousands without electricity.
The State Emergency Services received hundreds of calls for help during the storm's peak yesterday (November 28), with many more requiring assistance as the wild weather continued to lash the state today.
Two homes in Toodyay lost their roofs, while Perth's new $20 million Terrace Hotel also had its roof ripped off.
More than 50,000 people were left without power, with about 6,000 remaining unconnected to electricity.
There were also 200 reports of fallen wires around Perth and south-west parts of the state.
With thousands of households - mainly in the Perth Hills and Kwinana areas - still experiencing a blackout, people may want to hire a generator until power is restored.
Kennards Hire have a wide range of generators available including smaller types that can be used to run power tools and appliances and medium sized for larger power-run appliances.
Hiring a generator will mean that you can keep your fridge running, cook meals for the family, light the home and do the laundry - helping your household continue on as normal.
