Port Hedland’s iconic Big Wheelbarrow gets a new neighbour

Kennards Hire Port Hedland has moved to a brand new, purpose-built site to house an even larger range of gear to support customers. Custom built on 5,000sqm of land right next to the town’s iconic Big Wheelbarrow, the new Kennards Hire Port Hedland s fully stocked with an extensive range of equipment to help customers with their projects, whether big or small.

With the new build, the Port Hedland location has introduced a convenient drive through facility. Customers can now load and unload their equipment undercover, away from the harsh elements, and the high roof allows most service trucks to access the loading zone. With a yard more than double the size of the previous site, customers can expect a smoother and safer traffic flow during peak times when picking up or dropping off equipment.

There is a strong demand for high quality equipment in the region. Kennards Hire Port Hedland stocks a vast range of specialist gear, including mine shut down equipment like 185 and 400cfm air compressors, air vantage and vantage welders with LN25 wire feeder attachments, 5kva to 100kva generators and concrete cutting equipment (just to name a few). Not only that, the branch also has a wide variety of general equipment so customers can pick up all the gear they need for their DIY projects.
