Kennards hires out various earthmoving equipment including mini loaders, skid steer loaders and trenchers to help you complete your jobs efficiently and effectively.
Excavation can sometimes be fragile work, so it's vital that you equip yourself with the appropriate tools for your project.
Melbourne Irrigation hired out a trailer-mounted, non-destructive vacuum excavator which helped with installing a new sprinkler system in Melbourne's King Domain Gardens without damaging tree roots and plants.
Vacuum excavators use high-pressure water blasting to help break up soil before using a high vacuum system to extract it from the excavation area.
These units allow for small, deep, precision controlled holes to be dug quickly to uncover buried utilities - without the risks that are posed by machinery such as backhoes and excavators.
"It was exactly what we needed. A couple of other councils came to have a look, and were also impressed," said Melbourne Irrigation director Ben Cameron.
Following great feedback from customers, Kennards added more units. There is a 946 litre tank for spoil and 378 litre water tank with attached hose and wand for jet blasting.
