Kennards brings the heat to any event centre

When you're organising a corporate event or private function, you don't want to let the weather dictate when and where your gathering takes place.

A cold night, for example, doesn't have to put a damper on anything, especially if you've got the right heating equipment on hand. Kennards recently provided such heaters for the Westpac Centre in Adelaide to ensure all guests were comfy.

To create a warm environment, Kennards placed four diesel infrared heaters in each corner of the room. Because the centre had such high ceilings, the event staff said a chill could easily develop as night set in.

Setting up the 18kg heaters was a breeze, and once in place, could provide heat similar to a sunny day for up to eight hours on one tank of fuel.

"We have used these heaters from Kennards Hire before because they are very effective," said Susan Hall, manager of the Westpac Centre.

"They are delivered and set up by someone from Kennards at 07:30 in the morning and last all day. When we have a conference over two or more days, Kennards come out and refuel them for us."

Kennards also hires mushroom heaters, which are ideal for smaller social gatherings, and similar-sized patio heaters.
