    Kennards expands specialist equipment hire in Queensland

    Kennards Hire  has expanded the operations of its two specialist equipment hire divisions into far north Queensland.

    Kennards Lift & Shift and Kennards Pump & Power will be initially operating from the general equipment hire centre in Hartley Street, Garbutt. Their new location puts them closer to mining operations in far north Queensland, which they previously supplied from hire centres in Brisbane.

    While Kennards Lift & Shift specialises in providing equipment and technical advice for moving heavy or bulky loads, Kennards Pump & Power hires out big pumps and big generators.

    Kennards Lift & Shift supplies air and material hoists, torque tools, hydraulic lifting equipment, glass handlers, gantries and cable hauling equipment for hire.

    Kennards Pump & Power supplies generators in sizes from 20kVA to 1MW for use in the mining industry, in addition to pumps including extra high head units built to mine specifications. The pumps range includes skid mounted and towable, trailer-mounted units extending from 300mm to 100mm as well as submersible drainage and sludge pumps.
