Kennards Hire introduces new soft lights

Kennards Hire Traffic has supplied large numbers of lighting towers in recent times to locations ranging from mine sites in Western Australia’s Pilbara to a family-friendly agriculture show on Sydney’s fringe.

Downer EDI and Fortescue Metals were among industry giants to be supplied by the Perth hire centre after the arrival of 26 new units.

Hawkesbury Show, the second largest in NSW after the Royal Easter Show, hired 22 lighting towers, including several new soft-light units, which provide great illumination while being glare-free.

The new soft lights are superior to balloon lights, especially in transport and operation.

Soft light and standard halogen light options are available with the lighting tower that is now the Kennards’ standard.

It has a 9m high hydraulic mast with four lamps which rotates 360 degrees and extends to full height in only 12 seconds and descends in 18 seconds. An inbuilt diesel generator serves additional power needs.

Quiet and very user-friendly, its compact design makes it ideal for towing or lifting for truck transportation.
