Not all worksites are created equal. In fact, some of them are downright difficult.

When it comes to earthmoving in spaces around the home or even on a smaller construction site, access can be a real issue that slows down your progress significantly, and can sometimes even bring the entire job to a halt.

After all, if you can't access the places you need to go with your gear, then you won't be getting far - either physically or metaphorically.

So when it comes to shifting dirt, sand and other earthen materials around a fiddly site, then your best bet could be the ride-on swivel dumper that you can hire from Kennards.

If your current equipment is too chunky for the job, then this could be just the ticket to turn a tough job into an easy one.

It makes working alongside fences, tree lines and buildings a lot easier as the compact size and swivel function is specifically designed to be able to handle those narrow access jobs where earthmoving is required in tight spaces.

Most commonly, these pieces of machinery are currently used to base fill or back fill trenches for pipe-laying jobs, but they can also be used for just about anything you can think of such as filling a golf bunker with sand, replacing dirt after an excavation or building a sand pit in the back yard!

You'll get a swivel capacity of 180 degrees to allow for a large range of motion in small spaces, which means that there will be less back and forward action than less-agile equipment - and when time is of the essence, those few degrees can make all the difference.

It has a capacity of 1,000kg of materials at a time. For such a small machine this is pretty impressive, as it only weighs 910kg - a bit like a 90kg guy lifting 100kg in the gym - not bad at all. And certainly gets the job done in a good time when you can make fewer, but larger, trips.

The swivel loader runs off a 15hp diesel engine so it can go all day if you need it to (perhaps unlike the guy at the gym).

So bring in a trailer when you pick it up from Kennards and grab those earmuffs and you'll be all set to take on that narrow-access job.
