Every registered junior player in North Harbour’s 11 clubs will receive a free rugby ball this month, with theMassey Rugby Club junior players delighted at taking ownership of their free Kennards Hire rugby balls last night.
Tom Kimber, Kennards Hire General Manager NZ said the family-owned company and North Harbour Rugby wants to put young players at the centre of the experience, creating rugby memories.
“I know first-hand what a constructive impact rugby clubs have on children’s development, wellbeing and sense of belonging and North Harbour rugby is really striving to foster those positive outcomes.
“We are thrilled to help the Local Footy League this season, and are making sure the clubs are also supported with the hire equipment they need to maintain their club rooms and facilities,” he said.
