When it comes to traffic control, there's often more to it than just propping up some road signs and getting on with the job.

While the safety aspect is incredibly important, there's also a practical side that will need to be addressed. For example, do you have all the equipment you'll need for the job ready to go on day one?

Something as simple as road plates might make all the difference when you need your machinery to be able to move around a work site.

These plates measure 1.2m x 1.2m and enable continuous access during road works and excavations. Movement of the plates when vehicles pass over them is prevented by four stakes in the corners to secure them to the ground.

Hiring road plates from Kennards is a simple process, and if you don't have a truck to transport them to your worksite then we can deliver them for you.

Having these on hand for any roadwork project can be hugely beneficial for speeding up the process and making the job that much easier.
