Tables and Chairs
Any event needs tables and chairs. You need to make sure that you have plenty of tables and chairs to cater for all of your guests. If you need a large number of these items, you can organise a trailer or you can ask your local branch deliver them to your location.
Barbeques
Most people have their own BBQ but if you are expecting a large number of guests you may need a bit of extra hot plate space to cater for everyone. If required, your BBQ can come with a full gas bottle, all you need to do is hook it up!

To do this, all you need to do is make sure your gas bottle is turned off and install the valve. A pro tip when attaching your gas bottle to the valve is to make sure you thread the valve in the opposite direction. Once attached all you need to do is hang the bottle up on the hook and turn the valve on. Turn the burner dial on and the pilot light. Once you have finished using your BBQ, turn it off from the gas valve first and then the BBQ itself. This will help clear the line of gas by itself.

Air Conditioners
Depending on the time of year for your party, you might need help keeping your party cool. There are a few different options of air conditioning that you can take advantage of. Small units that are suitable for small rooms and smaller locations and larger units that are suitable for larger rooms, about 32m2. It is important to remember that all air conditioning units will require an exhaust ducting system to help push hot air out of the space in order to make it cool. An exhaust duct can be aimed out of a door, window or even up into the ceiling, depending on your location.
Misting Fans
This is a great option if your space doesn’t allow for an air conditioner to cool your guests down. Misting fans work well for semi open areas like verandahs and patios. They are a full integrated unit that is a pedestal fan with a plumbing system that moves water up into the fan causing a fine mist. The fans do include a water tank that you will need to fill up. It also includes a fitting at the back that you can attach a hose to, plus a dial that allows you to control the mist that comes out of the fan. Simply fill the tank or attach it to your water source with a hose, plug it in and turn it on.
Heaters
During cooler weather you may want to look into setting up a heater. There are a few different types of heaters that you may want to consider; Mushroom Heater, Patio Heater and Space Heater.

Mushroom heaters are great for outdoor areas. If you are inside a marquee or indoor area though, you want to make sure that you have at least 1 metre space above and around the heater while you are using it to avoid causing any damage to a marquee or property. Patio heaters are great for verandahs, patios and semi-enclosed areas. As with any gas powered equipment, you want to make sure that you are in a well ventilated area during use. Space heaters are great for open areas like warehouses and large garages. You may also want to consider an electric heater for events that are inside and have easy access to power.
Lighting
Don’t let your party or event stop just because of night fall. Extra lighting is a great way to ensure your event carries on well into the night. Choose from a range of LED Style 20 or 50 watt lights (rechargeable battery or power cord models available), Halogen flood lights or a lighting tower. LED style lighting towers are also great for those who are wanting to work on DIY projects around the home after dark. If you are looking to light a larger area such as a sporting stadium, car park or sporting event, lighting towers will definitely do the trick.
Generators
If you are hosting an event that is away from the house or power is not easily accessible then you may want to consider a generator. Choose from small 3kva generators that are great for powering small DJ equipment and lighting, or a 7kva generator that can power the same plus some heating and cooling. Alternatively, you may want a larger unit such as a 20kva or 45kva. These larger trailer mounted units are excellent for powering larger events such as a wedding or major event.
Portable Toilets
For the comfort of all guests portable toilets are a great idea for any event. Options include a skid mounted portable toilet or trailer mounted portable toilet. A skid mounted toilet can be transported to your event location and put in place by your branch. A trailer mounted toilet can be moved by you with a suitable towing vehicle. Trailer mounted toilets have stabilizers that need to be dropped down once you have unhooked the trailer from your vehicle. These stabilizers help to ensure your toilet is properly balanced so there are no accidents while your guests are moving to and from the toilet.

These units also include a fully integrated sink and hand basin, which is prefilled with water for you. Hand washing and flushing are all powered by foot pumps located within the unit. Before returning your portable toilet you will need to pump out your toilet before returning it. This just ensures your toilet is ready for transport back to the branch.
