Marketing Terms and Conditions

Subject to the details attached to each benefit, Kennards Hire will endeavour to provide the high standards of service outlined in these service benefits at all times. Notwithstanding this, extenuating circumstances may occasionally result in difficulty or failure to meet the parameters of a specific benefit. In these circumstances the Kennards Hire service representative will communicate any foreseeable issues as they become apparent.

1) Two Easy Weekend offer is 1 day off a weekend hire and minimum 1 day charge as follows:

a) Weekend - offer 2 days hire for the price of 1 day.

i) Hire after 3pm on Friday, return by 9am Monday 

b) When a public holiday falls on a Monday or a Friday - 3 days hire for the price of 2 days (or weekend offer).

i) Hire after 3pm on Thursday (when the Public Holiday falls on a Friday), return by 9am Monday

ii) Hire after 3pm on Friday (when the Public Holiday falls on a Monday), return by 9am Tuesday 

c) Easter Long Weekend - 4 days hire for the price of 3 days (or weekend or long weekend offer).

i) Hire after 3pm Thursday return by 9am Tuesday

2) The offer applies exclusively to the hire rate for general hire products (excludes waivers, delivery, specialist products and consumables).

3) The offer is valid only on hires spanning a single weekend or long weekend.

4) The offer is redeemable in-branch and online, subject to availability.

5) Rate includes daily allowances for the duration of the hire.

6) This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, custom rates (applicable to Account Customers), discounted rates (applicable to Account Customers), promotion or discount code.

7) Kennards Hire reserves the right to amend these terms without prior notice.

8) Customers may use the After Hours Return service in combination with this offer, provided equipment is returned by the agreed return time and date.

9) The After Hours Return service is only available at selected branches. To check if your branch offers the After Hours Return service speak to a Kennards Hire team member or visit the Kennards Hire website.

10) The offer is available to customers of Kennards Hire Australia and New Zealand.

11) The offer is only available in branches in the region in which the public holiday has been declared.

12) The offer is valid from October 2024 until further notice.

Eligibility: The Kennards Hire Customer Staff discount are available to selected customers.

1. Customer promotional codes are only valid for the duration of the customers contract with Kennards Hire
2. The offer is valid online and in-store. In-store purchases must quote the promo code and prove you work with the designated customer to be eligible.
3. In no circumstance is the discount code provided redeemable for cash or credit.
4. The discount is only available on Kennards Hire retail rates.
5. This offer cannot be used in combination with any other offer.

Eligibility: The Kennards Hire New Subscriber Discount Code is available to individuals in Australia and New Zealand aged 18 years or older who have received the code directly in their new subscriber welcome email.

Competition Details:

2. This promotion commences 3 May 2026 at 7:00am (AEDT) and ends on 30 August 2026 at 11:59pm (AEDT).
3. Multiple entries per individual will be accepted, one for each Kennards Hire Real Resilience Award received. To be eligible, you must be a parent of a recipient of the Kennards Hire Real Resilience Award.
4. Valid entrants will have the chance to win: 1 x $1,000 cash towards their club’s end of year celebrations.
5. The total number of winners during the promotion period is one (1).
6. The winner will be notified by North Harbour Rugby Union via phone call and email.
7. Payment will be made directly to the club via North Harbour Rugby Union.

Who Can Enter:

8. Entry is open to all permanent residents of New Zealand aged 18 years and over, who have a child that has received the Kennards Hire Real Resilience Award during the promotional period. Multiple entries per individual will be accepted provided proof of multiple certificates is supplied. Employees and their immediate families of Kennards Hire and Trade Station are ineligible to enter. Immediate family includes spouse, ex-spouse, de facto spouse, child or step child, parent, step parent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, sibling or first cousin.
9. The entrant must be a natural person to be eligible for the Prize.
10. By entering, you warrant that you meet the entry requirements and accept these Terms and Conditions.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual deemed ineligible or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or who has engaged in unlawful or improper conduct.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry at any time.

How to Enter:

13. Enter by scanning the QR code on the award and completing the online form, including uploading an image of the signed and dated award, by 11:59pm (AEDT) 30 August 2026 to be included in the draw.

The Prize:

14. The total prize pool is valued at $1,000 NZD. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and no compensation will be offered if it cannot be accepted as stated.
15. Any additional or ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner.
16. Third-party terms and conditions may apply. The winner must review and accept these to redeem the Prize.

The Prize Draw:

17. The winner will be drawn at 12:00pm AEDT on 1 September 2026 at Kennards Hire, Building I, 22 Powers Road, Seven Hills NSW 2147. This is a game of chance.
18. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding.
19. The winner will be notified by North Harbour Rugby Union within 48 hours of the draw.
20. If the Prize is not claimed within three months, an alternate winner will be selected.
21. An unclaimed prize draw will occur at 12:00pm AEDT on 7 January 2027 at the same location.
22. The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entrant engaging in fraudulent or improper conduct.
23. If any component of the Prize is not taken at the specified time, it will be forfeited.

Personal Information:

24. Use of personal information:
    • (a) By entering, you consent to Kennards Hire using your personal details for administering the promotion and promotional purposes, including use of your Instagram name.
    • (b) You consent to being contacted by Kennards Hire and North Harbour Rugby Union via phone and email if you are a winner.
25. The Promoter may request proof of identity and residency.
26. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ).
27. Information may be used for direct marketing purposes.

Liability and Release:

29. The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or personal injury suffered in connection with the Prize.
30. You confirm you own all rights to any intellectual property submitted.
31. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer guarantees under New Zealand law.
32. The winner may be required to sign a deed of release.
33. The winner indemnifies the Promoter against any losses arising from breaches, misconduct, or claims related to the Prize.
34. If the Promotion cannot run as planned, the Promoter may cancel, suspend or modify it subject to New Zealand law.
