    If you'd like to lodge a complaint, an email is the best method of getting in touch with us. We take complaints very seriously, so please be as detailed as possible in your email to us so we can take a good look at the problem. Email us at info@kennardshire.co.nz.

    While we were the same business in the past, Kennards Self Storage is now only affiliated with us by name. We know it can be pretty confusing, just remember to attach ‘Hire’ to the end of the title!

    We’ve never wanted to be the biggest hire company, just the best! We believe in no hidden extras and a fair dinkum approach to pricing. Our rates include a few other services that we reckon are really useful. We’ll always include GST and basic damage waiver in our rates, as well as little extras we think make your job easy. Where there are optional items or additional charges we’ll make sure these are well understood before you hire. It's these additional services that set us apart and are why our customers continue to hire from us – and why you should too!

    If you’ve run into problems, call your hiring branch or 135 135. We take problems and faults seriously, and we want to hear about them as soon as they happen.

    We're constantly adding new equipment to our range, so if you don't find what you're looking for then please get in touch via the options listed above.

    If your local or preferred branch doesn't have equipment available for hire, we'll work with our other branches to source it. We’ll always try to get you the equipment you’re after, without delay.


    Technology has a pretty large list of buzzwords, but QR codes are an easy way to access websites from your smart phone. Simply aim your camera at the QR code using a QR code app and the relevant web page will launch.

    Selecting a branch shows you the relevant equipment for your area, the relevant rates and the correct delivery information. After all, you don’t want to be shown a mini-loader halfway across the state when you need a jack hammer locally!

    If you can’t remember your password click on the ‘forgotten password’ link on the sign in page. You’ll be prompted to enter your email address and we’ll send you an email with a pin that will allow you to create a new password for your account.


    You need a valid email address to sign up for our website. Your password may also not meet the minimum requirements outlined upon signing up.
